The decision not to participate in insurance plans was a carefully considered choice driven by our deep commitment to privacy, confidentiality, and the individualized care my clients deserve. Having grown up in a military family and worked for the Department of Defense, I understand firsthand that some individuals face heightened levels of public scrutiny.

Here are a few reasons why my clients prefer private pay:

Greater Confidentiality: Insurance claims require sharing personal health information, including diagnosis codes, with third parties. Many of my clients prefer to keep their medical and health treatment entirely private, especially given the level of public or professional visibility.

No Diagnostic Labels: Insurance companies require a medical diagnosis for reimbursement. In private pay therapy, you have the freedom to explore without the necessity of fitting your experience into a predefined category. There are plenty of reasons for seeking physiotherapy that are not captured in medical diagnosis codes.

Personalized, Unrestricted Care: Insurance plans often limit the number of sessions, dictate the type of treatment, or impose restrictions on the methods used. Private pay allows complete flexibility in your care, ensuring that treatment is customized to meet your needs without external limitations.

Exclusive, High-Caliber Service: My clients value a high level of service beyond what is typically covered by insurance, including extended sessions, concierge-like availability in some cases, and bespoke care plans.

Direct Access and Flexibility: Without the constraints of insurance billing and approvals, we can focus solely on your therapy experience, offering more immediate, uninterrupted, and flexible care—tailored to your busy lifestyle.
